Loyola takes its commitment to the community very seriously. We regularly invest time, energy and finances to benefit the people we serve. In fact, in fiscal year 2007 alone, we provided more than $180 million in unreimbursed care through our charity care policy, research, education and other services to our communities. For Loyola, our community benefit is about providing medical care to those in need, programs that improve overall health education and research. Our community benefit goes far beyond meeting obligations; our commitment is practical, spiritual and financial.
